Since winning the IGLTA’s student tourism award in 2012, Allister has curated luxury travel experiences for LGBT travelers around the world. With a degree in Public Policy from Harvard, Allister pays close attention to political trends that shape the experiences of LGBT travelers. He is particularly interested in sharing stories that reveal the many discrepancies before de jure gay rights legislation and de facto lived experiences. Allister writes about LGBT travel and politics in French, Chinese, and English. He lives with his husband in Washington, D.C.
